Itinerary

Day 1 - Siem Reap Arrival – Welcome Dinner

Sous Sdei & welcome to Cambodia. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Siem Reap. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at one of finest restaurants in town. Meals: Dinner. Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 2 - Siem Reap – Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom & Bayon

  • Morning Pickup: Tour guide and driver collect you from your hotel to visit the Angkor Temple Complex.
  • Angkor Wat Visit: Ideal early visit for the best light and fewer crowds. Explore the stunning architecture and artistic details of this iconic temple, a three-tiered pyramid with five towers.
  • Historical Significance: Built by Suryavarman II, dedicated to Vishnu, representing the zenith of Khmer architecture and political dominance.

Day 4 - Siem Reap – Tonle Sap – Kampong Phluk – Departure

This morning, take a short walk through a tranquil Siem Reap neighborhood to learn about the local way of life before driving to Tonle Sap Lake, South East Asia’s largest freshwater lake with its size varying greatly depending on the season. A boat trip on the lake reveals rural Cambodian aqua-life as it co-exists with the seasonal floods. Later on, make a stop at Kampong Phluk village, built on stilts on the Tonle Sap and less touristic than floating village Chong Khneas. From there, your guide will offer an orientation walking tour to the village to get an insight of fishermen’s life, interact with local people, visit local school, pagoda… Later on, passing by the nearby flooded mangrove forests, the largest in the region. An optional rowing boat trip is recommended in rainy season (June – November). Finally drive to the airport to catch your departure flight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
